DriveDroid is a useful application that allows you to boot your PC from ISO/IMG files stored on your phone. This feature is particularly helpful for testing out different Linux distributions or having a readily available rescue system without the hassle of burning CDs or USB pendrives.

Additionally, DriveDroid includes a convenient download menu where you can easily retrieve USB-images of various operating systems directly to your phone. Some popular options include Mint, Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSUSE, and Arch Linux. Currently, there are around 35 different systems available.

Another notable feature of DriveDroid is the ability to create blank USB-images. This allows you to have a blank USB-drive that can be used to store files from your PC or write images using tools on your computer.

Notes:

• This application uses certain kernel features that may or may not be available or stable on your specific phone. While most phones have been tested and shown to work without issues, it's important to keep in mind that yours may not (yet) be compatible out-of-the-box.
• Emulating USB drives is supported by most kernels, while some also support emulating CD-rom drives. Kernels with the necessary patches can support both functionalities.
• While most Linux-related ISOs can be booted from USB drives, there are cases where specific ISOs may require CD-rom drives or some form of conversion.
